I have painted all my life, studying Fine Art at Winchester College of Art in the late 1960s (B.A. Fine Art), and at The Slade (Post-graduate). I also have an Art Teaching Diploma from Hornsey College of Art.

I have exhibited extensively in the U.K., France and Australia, both in solo and group exhibitions. I  have always been an active member of art groups, helping organise and mount group shows.

'Fogintor Quarry' - charcoal

'Helen'- pastel

Life drawing is a good way to keep up my drawing skills. I like to go to my local arts centre once a week, where there are always interesting life models.

'Mykonos' - mixed media

I did a series of watercolours when I was  island-hopping in the Greek Islands on a friend's yacht in 2010.Back in the studio, I worked from the small images I produced en plein air, and did several versions of Mykonos, including this large mixed-media triptich.
